Quogue Union Free School District

The Quogue Union Free School District runs one school, Quogue Elementary, from pre-kindergarten to grade 6, with 92 students in fall 2024. The district’s own page says it also runs a Non-Resident Enrollment Program, which lets students from neighboring communities attend. If you rent in the village, see current rentals in Quogue and expect a very small school.

After grade 6

Quogue has no middle or high school. The Westhampton Beach School District says it serves students from the village of Quogue, so older Quogue students attend Westhampton Beach’s middle and high schools. See the Westhampton Beach district for registration there.

Registering

Registration runs through the district’s Enroll Now page, which also describes the non-resident program. The district office is at 10 Edgewood Rd, Quogue, NY 11959, phone (631)653-4285. For proofs of residency, ask the office for the current list and compare it with the state’s guidance in enrolling a new student.

Context

Quogue has 760 Census residents, and 79% of its homes are seasonal. A school this small mirrors a village that is mostly second homes: see the Quogue profile and the district comparison.
