After grade 8
Montauk signed a five-year tuition agreement with East Hampton in February 2025, subject to voter approval and state sign-off. The East Hampton Star reported that Montauk, Springs and Amagansett agreed to send all their graduating students exclusively to East Hampton, except special-education students who need out-of-district services. The Montauk School’s superintendent and principal described the arrangement as fair to both East Hampton and Montauk taxpayers.
